Oh my gosh I cant believe how long it's been since I have blogged! I miss my blog land! Work family and life has really got in the way of some of the things I enjoy.  So I am just going to jump back into blogging! I hope I didn't miss much! Please fill me in and tell what I need to know! 

Pinking my Christmas up!

I have been thinking ahead about what colors I want to put on

our Christmas tree this year! Ready for a change!! 

And yes we all know that I ♥ Pink! Pink is my most favorite color but I am sure the rest of the family wouldn't agree with a pink tree...lol 

 

So I put together some recent creations, I made to show them how cute and pretty pink would look on our tree.

I hand made Stocking aren't they just adorable!!

I also found a few pics for inspiration

A Super Pink Surprise!

A Super Pink Surprise 

Well as you guys know I went away for work for 3 weeks.. It was a great experience along with a nice break for me being away 

from kids and hubby.... I did miss them but I also enjoyed my time too! 

So my wonderful hubby did a super surprise for me. 
I had no clue!
My husband took 2 weeks to fully restore my childhood beach cruiser! 
It has been sitting behind our barn rusting for the last 22 plus years.

I had the biggest smile ever when I saw this! My bike is my only toy left from my childhood

All work NO play!!

Well .. Let say I am Sorry for not Blogging for a while but I have been gone for 3 weeks in Tulsa, OK ! I was at training camp for work! All work no play :(



 Right before I left I did hit the jack pot at couple of yards sales and found tons of goodies all for under $30!!

My Vintage Thingies Thursday

for a while now but I always seem to miss it!  

Not this Thursday I am all over it! So go and check out her blog to see what else others are showing off of their Vintage Thingies :) 

I have this ♥ for antique quilts but know nothing about them! I am just drawn in to the color and patterns! 

So I am seeking some help here at the same time as showing off the pretty quilt I just found!  How do I date the quilt and how can I find the name of the pattern. The reason I ask is the lady I bought this from said it was from the early 1900's. So before I toss in the washer maybe you can tell how I should carefully wash it also.. ( it smells a little musky from sitting in the trunk)

 I just love the colors of this! Simply Adorable

The large Rosette is made with a vintage shirt that was falling apart! I just loved the fabric, so I wanted to make something with it and look how pretty it turned out!

Tie Creations in my Whimsy Mind

The other day while looking for something to dress up my tee shirt and remembering I had just done the rosette swap. A light bulb moment went off in my head to make a rosette while still keeping a tie style for my tee shirt!  Simply adorable!

I like to use pure silk ties they are just easier to shape and sew ...

When my teen girls saw it on, they too feel in love with them! This is such a great way to re-purpose old vintage ties! I added a little "bling" for the picture but, I believe either way these ties are great way of dressing up any plain old tee shirt or blouse.
